Docker Backup Guard is finally out! 🛡️

I’ve been spending my free time lately working on a little tool to solve a problem that’s been bugging me for a while: Docker backups.

I got tired of dealing with messy scripts and manual encryption, so I decided to build something myself. It’s called Docker Backup Guard. It’s a bit of a „labor of love,“ built for anyone who wants a simple, no-nonsense way to keep their data safe.

What’s it about? It basically automates the boring stuff. It takes your Docker volumes, encrypts them with AES-256, and syncs them to your cloud storage via Rclone.

Why you might like it:

      • Simple UI: No complex commands; just a clean dashboard to manage everything.

      • Set & Forget: Built-in scheduler so you don’t have to think about it.

      • Security: Designed to work with docker-socket-proxy.

      • Multi-language: Supports English, German, and Turkish.

I’m really excited to finally share this. It’s open source, and if you want to give it a spin or leave a star, it would mean a lot!
